FIRST Adventures in Robotics /w EV3
Along with an interest in robotics, a major skill set needed for this course is the ability to work in teams. This robotics class will use the LEGO®MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 Base Set and Software customized for beginner to intermediate learners ages 7-17 (Min Age: Must turn 7 by 12-31-15). The Carnegie Mellon Robotics Curriculum is delivered in small team clusters so that an appropriate skill level of learning can be achieved at an effective pace.
This robotics program is ideal for students who enjoy problem-solving and want to develop interpersonal skills through working in a collaborative team setting. If you like mechanics, engineering, ever wondered about what makes things ‘Tick’ or simply have a curiosity of how things work, then this is the place for you!
