Programming Engineering VEX

Along with an interest in robotics, a major skill set needed for this course is the ability to work in teams. This robotics class will use the VEX Robotics System and Programming Software customized for beginner to intermediate learners ages 7-18 (Min Age: Must turn 7 by 12-31-15).  The Carnegie Mellon based Curriculum is delivered in small student clusters so that an appropriate skill level of learning can be achieved at an effective pace.

This robotics program is ideal for students who enjoy problem-solving and want to develop interpersonal skills through working in a collaborative team setting. If you like mechanics, engineering, ever wondered about what makes things ‘Tick’ or simply have a curiosity of how things work, then this is the place for you! As students have fun building robots and competing in robotics missions, this popular robotics build and programming program provides the young participant with access to VEX Robotics Systems and Programming Software that will lay a strong foundation for future study in computer engineering, math, mechanical engineering, and other STEM subjects.
