GIRLS be STEMTASTIC !

BrainTech Robotics (BTR) STEM Learning Centre is running exciting & challenging workshops for young girls ages 11 – 17 to develop STEM Skills for  building maze cities, and programming Sphero robots while having FUN!!

Sphero Edu provides a toolset that is unbounded in its potential. While coding and 21st century skills are necessary, our program also goes beyond code by incorporating robotics and technology with collaborative STEM activities, nurturing students’ imaginations in ways no other education program can.”

Each team will have a team leader “Tech Sister”; a female engineering / science tech student that will lead in the infrastructure design and robot programming.

Each team will be provided with:

  • Sphero Robot
  • City building infrastructure materials (bridge, tunnels, tall structures)
  • Apple iPad
  • BTR Robotics requirements

You will learn to collaborate, and contribute in a project as a team.
